Head Fitness Trainer
Spencer Dunlap is a former NCAA Division I baseball player (University of San Diego), Ocean Lifeguard (City of San Diego), Surf Coach (International Surfing Association), and Certified Personal Trainer (National Academy of Sports Medicine).
As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Spencer is knowledgeable of the scientific principles, foundational concepts, and practical techniques to train and motivate clients in exercise activities. As a former surf instructor and ocean lifeguard, he has worked with many surfers over the years, and specializes in strength training for surfing and ocean sports.
Spencer’s training methodology prioritizes functional, compound movements that improve real-world strength, balance, coordination, and mobility using minimal equipment. He is capable of assessing clients’ fitness levels, personal goals, and skills to create customized training programs, provide regular feedback, and track progress.
